Places for Thought

This might be a yucky subject to some but it is something that has to be shared. We don’t spend much of our time thinking about our toilets but we spend many hours thinking whilst on the toilet as for me it is a great place to do my thinking, I don’t know if you agree but it works for me.

I guess it is because I sit there with no one to talk to (Thankfully) so my brain goes tick tick tick the whole time. I have also found that sitting on the thrown is a great place to read and really absorb the information I am reading.

Is this the same for you?
Do you have a great place for thinking? If so please tell me about it.

Drop by soon to see what other amazing thoughts I can come up with to share. I will drop my next wonderful and exciting Blog after a few thinking hours on the loo.

To Live Every Day as if it Was Your Last

I am sorry I haven’t been as regular as I would like to be I have just been very busy with Gals Talk it looks like it will be a hit. We just need more women to sign up and chat away the support so far is awesome it was excellent to see Candy Froggie sign up (Our very first from another country) that makes her very “Special”.

If you are reading this Blog I ask if you are female or if your not a female and you know a female just let them know www.galstalk.com is the place for women to talk freely and we are giving free membership for a while to get started.

I was reading one of the comments today in the forum and I got goose bumps as this year has been a big year for me to make changes in my life as there is a few things I don’t like about myself. One of the things one lady said was that the father who is terminally ill with cancer said to her “to live every day as if it was your last” and since this lady is a friend of mine it kinda hit home a bit well more then a bit a whole damn lot.

As in July 2003 I lost my mother to a massive heart attack and since I live in Queensland and she lived in New South Wales which is more then 1000kms away I had not been down there to see her in 2 years. We had only spoken on the phone on the Sunday night before her passing (she passed away on the Tuesday). And going back to what my friend had said in the forum about what her dad said to her stopped me in my tracks and I though WOW that is so true like 1 day I am talking to my mother on the telephone and then 2 days later she dies. So if I knew she was not going to be around I would have made ever effort on this whole entire universe to go that 1000km to see her.

I guess what I am saying and what I got from that statement was……….. Do what ever you want to do coz only you is stopping you. If you want to take flying lessons do it, don’t talk about it.

I am today more then ever before so proud of Ms Penny and I for making the move and starting Gals Talk coz only in a very short time it has taught me something that has taken me over 30 years to learn. (Only just a wee bit over 30 shhhhhhhhhhh Ms P)

I have heard the words ”don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today” blah blah but said like that isn’t as heart wrenching as hearing your friend say it after it comes from a dying parent.

I hope this blog hasn’t totally confused you as I am a bit all over the place at the moment as there is so many new things happening in my life right now and all are very positive. I think when I have a few hours to spare I will fill you in on all my 2006 changes I have made and all the things still left for me to change.

20 Reasons Why Men Should Always Be Happy!

They get to keep there last name.

They think weddings take care of themselves.

The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected.

There new shoes don’t cut, blister or mangle there feet.

A five day holiday requires only 1 suitcase

They can open all there own jars.

There underwear is only $8.95 for a pack of 3.

3 pairs of shoes are more then enough.

They never see wrinkles in there clothes.

The same hairstyle lasts them for years, maybe even decades.

They only have to shave there face and neck.

They can play with toys all there life.

There beer belly’s usually hide there big hips.

They can wear shorts no matter how there legs look.

They can do there nails with a pocket knife.
